Home Depot Palm Beach Gardens Store Hours

Designer Caroline Rafferty just opened a new store in Palm Beach, and while it may be on the Florida coast, the vibe at The Grand Tour is anything but the traditional coastal aesthetic you'd expect. Instead, the brand new shop is an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary goods that are infused with color and personality.

The Grand Tour, which is run by Rafferty and her mother Julie Fisher Cummings, is inspired by Rafferty's grandmother, Dearie. Describing the store on its website, the pair explain that "The Grand Tour personifies her—a design destination for those who approach life with gusto and an elegance that is matched only by a biting sense of humor. The consummate host. The discerning collector. The eternal giver."

With Dearie in mind, the mother-daughter duo stock The Grand Tour with unique items from around the world, honoring their curiosity, love of travel, and eye for design. From candles and ceramics to furniture, sculptural lighting, and wallpaper, the shop has a little bit of everything for everyone. You can even buy fabric by the yard at The Grand Tour—you know, perfect for creating your own unique pieces, or giving your old favorites a fun refresh.

One especially cool feature of The Grand Tour is that Rafferty and Cummings make sure to feature the makers and brands they work with with on the store's website, so you can see where products are coming from and learn more about them. That, and the pair are on a mission to give back. They write that they've inherited Dearie's "inquisitive nature and appreciation for good design, but also a longing to take our passion for the home and do some good with it," and recently shared that they plan to donate a portion of the store's profits to a new charity every month.

If you simply can't pass up a visit to The Grand Tour (and really, who could blame you?!) you can head to the Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach. At the moment, there's no way to shop the store's wares online, but according to the website, an online shop is in the works. In the meantime, you'll just have to settle for these photos, or check out The Grand Tour (@grandtourhome) on Instagram.
