Hi Napoleonbot- I Adopt the camera to the sensor, prefer wired to wireless, and prefer imid linked display (similar what tk1000 had posted) over the rear-view mirror display.
Hopefully- should be able to observe someone to exercise just that!
Cheers for your reply!

It is possible to add a fill-in camera to this display.
Hullo tk1000,
I had sent this video, and as well the DIY thread link from 9thgencivic forum to Lockdown security. They said they looked into it and confirmed that it did seem similar an easy plenty install for them. They said they would get dorsum to me on the cost (camera and installation). I will keep you posted.

I will make step by step instructions on how to practice this. I plan to install it this weekend, when information technology warms up a bit.
Note: I actually volition be installing it on a 2013 Civic 60, so specific information regarding dash removal perchance different.

Would you lot be having the ebay link (i can't seem to brand upward my listen on how much to spend for the fill-in photographic camera)- surely I don't demand a uber-resolution i for only backing up...
Looking forward to your pace by stride DIY post (although I am pretty sure I don't have the skill/experience to endeavor it myself).

As promised... Here are the steps - for a 2013 Honda Civic LX
DISCLAIMER: THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY Non BE Complete AND MAY VOID WARRANTY - Proceed AT YOUR Ain Risk
Stride 1: Obtain all of the required items
- Camera (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Best-170-Waterp ... 1405136197)
- Jumper Wire (http://www.ebay.com/itm/20cm-Dupont-Fem ... 1337111186)
- Screw Driver (Philips)
- Drill and $.25
- Silicone
- Estrus Compress Wrap
- Solidering Iron and Solider
- Electrical Tape
- Zip Ties
- Call Honda to obtain the Radio Code to your radio.
Step ii: Remove all of the retaining clips from the trunk liner and remove. Then on the torso marker out the middle signal between the lights. Carefully drill the marked surface area past using the smallest drill bit you lot have, and go slow to prevent the bit from wandering and scratching other areas. Then progressively get larger until you lot reach the required opening for the photographic camera.
Apply Silicone as required – this will preclude rust from starting in this spot.
Wire the photographic camera power to the opposite light. Here you lot would use shrink tubing and electrical record to protect the solider connection you volition make.
The video cable that comes with the connectedness comes with an additional crimson wire attached. Attach this red wire to the positive backup light – we volition use this as the signal for the iMid to turn on the video when yous are reversing. - Wiring diagram to do this is provided futher below.
Step 3: Take the cable and hibernate it forth the trim of the car from the trunk to the commuter trim surface area.
Step 4: (This is the hardest footstep) Have apart the dash
Start with the butt warmers – At that place is 2 screws property this on. Remove these Philips screws. Once this is done pull towards you and it will popular off as they are held on by clips.
Then become to the lower console under the steering wheel. This is not held on by whatever screws. Pull on this portion and you lot should be able to pull this panel off without any bug – I recommend you lot start from the left side, and piece of work your fashion across.
Remove this panel – this is also held on with clips. Pull and information technology should come off. Behind this panel you will notice 2 screws. Remove these screws.
You lot volition now need to remove the radio. To practise this you need to remove ane black Philips spiral virtually the butt warmer trim surface area, and ii 8mm bolts that is inside of the butt warmers surface area. Once these 3 screws are you can pull on the radio and it should come right off.
After you remove this I recommend you remove the tachometer trim besides. Besides held on with clips. Didn't have a movie for this.
At present it's time to remove the top part of the dash. Once y'all remove whatever of this visible screws information technology is held together with clips. When removing this I recommend yous to button the dash upwards until the clips come up off then pull towards yous. This part volition all come off in 1 piece.
The dash is fully autonomously.
Stride 5: Wire the camera to the iMid.
This is the video wire from the camera. Reddish is 12V + from the light, Yellow is photographic camera signal, black is photographic camera basis. Solider and oestrus shrink the connector pieces
At present take the jumper cables and remove the black protective housing. Wire these to each of the wires from the camera.
Now you will connect these jumper cables to the iMid Harness. In lodge to practise this you will need to loosen the black retaining clip on the iMid connector.
Once it is loose y'all will put the connectors in the proper spot. Use the following diagram to make up one's mind the proper pins.
Credit to someone on the internet.
Then test the camera, by putting the car into reverse.
Put everything back together but in opposite.
Finished product...

Tin can anyone recommend a practiced aftermarket backup camera with night vision, line markers & waterproof. I browsed reviews for most of the ebay ones, pyle, boyo...and am confused. I believe the ones with sony camera are good, but I plant a couple that are mode expensive.
Second outcome I have gathered from the reviews is that night vision is not good in most of these cameras I've mentioned. I just want to install this for once so if anyone can recommend something that they are currently using it would be greatly appreciated.

Promise this helps!

Lockdown had quoted $160 for the backup camera install, just since they also installed a remote starter and a dashcam- they were kind enough to requite me an overall disbelieve.

+1 for Lock Down Security, they installed the Panorama X2 Dual Channel Dashcam for me; even though they never heard of the brand before, the techs did the hard-wiring and setup smoothly in an 60 minutes.
